It’s not a girls’ night in without the all-time favourite - chips. Serve them coated in different spices with accompanying dips and they’re guaranteed to be a real hit.

Ingredients

  • 6-8 large potatoes, cut into chip shapes or long, slim wedges
  • 3 tablespoons sunflower oil
  • 1 tablespo

Method

Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C/gas 6.

To make the Thai-spiced chips, toss half of the potato chips or wedges in 1 tablespoon of the sunflower oil, the sesame oil, Thai seven-spice seasoning and a pinch of salt. Place on a non-stick baking tray.
