As delicious as chocolate truffles are, they can be a fiddle to make. These wonderfully quick and simple chocolate squares are a great alternative, but be warned, they are very moreish.
Place the milk chocolate, dark chocolate and butter in a bowl and gently melt in the microwave or over a pan of simmering water. Once it is smooth, stir in the golden syrup, brandy and dried fruit.
Place the biscuits in a sandwich bag and bash with a rolling pin to a coarse crumb consistency. Stir into the chocolate mixture.
