I have very fond memories of a delicious, yet extremely simple, apricot tart from when I stayed with a French family as a teenager. It consisted of sweet pastry with crisp edges and a soft inside packed full of juicy apricots. It makes a great recipe for a family buffet and you can choose all sorts of fruits.
