Rye bread has less wheat than many other breads, which is a benefit to many, but I’ve suggested it here as it has a delicious flavour that works brilliantly with the toasted seeds. That said, don’t feel you have to stick to using it. Any bread can be used, including soda bread and (my favourite) walnut bread. This makes more than enough toasted seeds for the breakfast recipe, but it is well worth making this amount as you can use them to sprinkle on salads, soups or just to nibble on throug
