If you’ve not already done so, have a read about how great chia seeds are. You’d be foolish not to give these ‘power’ flapjacks a go – the energy you get from them will keep you going for ages, meaning you won’t snack on whatever is lying around later on in the day.

Ingredients

  • 6 tbsp coconut oil, plus extra for greasing
  • 175 g/6 oz/

Method

Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F/gas 4. Grease a 20 x 30cm/8 x 12in cake pan with oil and line the base with baking parchment.

Put the oats, pecans and pumpkin seeds in a baking pan and toast in the oven for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until lightly golden. Tip into a bow
