This chocolate sauce is lovely and rich in flavour and texture. It eats really well either hot or cold and goes with so many different puddings. Chocolate must be very carefully treated. If overheated, the chocolate will become split and grainy. Not every commercial chocolate works in cooking, but I have always found Bournville to be quite a safe bet.
