This is a real tonic. The Mowgli Penicillin is the cocktail-makers’ cocktail. It is one that only those in the know order. When Mowgli first opened, other bartenders would come by stealth and test us with this drink. Thankfully the best of them, my friend Danny Murphy, the Liverpool cocktail demigod, designed this one for me. His association with our cocktail kitchen is what placed us beyond reproach.
