Inspired by a famous hotel in Belfast that likes to serve of a morning cereal with whiskey and cream, this breakfast is a decadent treat of extra-special mini girolle and flat mushrooms, both found commonly in Northern Ireland. The flat mushrooms are packed full of flavoursome black pudding, baked, then topped with a poached egg and girolles pan-fried in butter, whiskey and crème fraîche. It’s finished off with blackberries and watercress to add fresh, tart tastes, as well as a few vitamins
