  • 2 lemons
  • 6 artichokes or a 14-oz tin artichoke hearts

Method

Have ready a bowl of water to which you have added the juice of ½ lemon. Cut off the stems and the hard outer leaves of the artichokes, and slice off the remaining leaves to within ½ inch of the hearts. Scoop out the chokes.
