Pitta bread stuffed with spiced meat makes a good snack and, if cut up small, a very good appetizer.
Cut each pitta on one side and open carefully without breaking the bread (warming it up makes it easier).
To make the filling, fry the onion in oil till golden, add the meat and fry, stirring, until it changes colour. Add the green pepper, season with salt and pepper and stir in the spices and parsley. Spread a sixth of the filling into each bread, then press it closed. Brush with melte
