  • 250 g (8 oz) small button mushrooms
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil


Wash and dry the mushrooms, or wipe them clean with a damp cloth. Cut them in half if they are a little large. Pour the oil and water into a deep frying pan. Stir in all the remaining ingredients except the mushrooms and bring to the boil. Finally, add the mushrooms and simmer gently for about 7 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender, turning them over occasionally. Pour into a serving dish
