For vegetables prepared à la Imam Bayildi, to be eaten cold, and sometimes called yalangi dolma or ‘false dolma’, because of the lack of meat. A very popular filling in Turkey.
Slice the onions thinly. Soften them gently in olive oil, but do not let them colour. Add garlic and stir for a minute or two until aromatic. Remove from the heat and stir in parsley and tomatoes. Season to taste with salt, and mix well.
