Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter or oil
  • 375–500 g

Method

In a large, heavy saucepan, fry the onion in hot butter or oil until soft and golden. Add meat and brown it gently all over. Season to taste with salt, pepper and cinnamon. Cover the pan, and cook the meat and onions in their own juices for about 10 minutes. Dilute the tomato concentrate in a little cold water, pour into the meat mixture and stir well.
