Another Orange and Almond Cake

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 teacup sugar
  • ¾ teacup ground almonds


Beat the eggs well in a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured cake tin and bake in a preheated moderate oven (180°C/350°F/Mark 4) for about ¾ hour. Cool in the tin, then turn out.
