  • About

This square, flaky, flat, slightly chewy bread is eaten for breakfast in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, where it’s available from both bakeries and street food carts. It’s easy and fun to make at home. Eat freshly cooked off the pan or enjoy with honey (or a syrup of honey and butter) and a glass of mint tea – so delicious. Msemen also freeze well.
