Gluten-Free Drop Scones

One of the many joys of this speedy recipe, apart from its adaptability for sweet or savoury dishes, is that you don’t need a weighing scales to make it. I use the same wide-brimmed pottery cup to mix this light drop scone batter. I cook it for everyone and do not announce its gluten-free status unless I’m making it for a coeliac or gluten-/wheat-intolerant guest and it is always very well received.
