I love adding a French touch to my Japanese desserts and this has been a household favourite to challenge those who until now would not dream of trying red bean ice cream.

The ice cream should be creamy and nutty and have a beautifully light-pink colour, which is really set off by serving with the Matcha madeleines. Yo
