Why pay big bucks for ready-made bottled teriyaki sauce, when it is so easy to make at home for a fraction of the cost, and with much better results? This sauce is a permanent fixture in my fridge, where it lasts for weeks. I like flavouring teriyaki sauce with lightly crushed cloves of garlic and using it in my Nikkei ‘surf & turf’ sushi trio.
