  • 2 red onions
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 kg pork cheeks
  • 100 ml white port
  • 400 g shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon green peppercorns
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • Salt
  • 4 chives

1 flameproof casserole dish

1 chopping board


Preheat the oven to 160°C.

Peel and slice the onions. Peel and crush the garlic.

Sauté the garlic and onions in the olive oil in a flameproof casserole dish, then add the pork cheeks and brown them.

Deglaze the dish with port, add the rest of the ingredients, except the chives, cover and cook in the oven for 1 hour 30 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped chives to serve.
