  • 3 French shallots
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 1 red capsicum (pepper)
  • 1 large pork leg steak
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 500 ml pale beer
  • Salt and pepper

1 chopping board


Preheat the oven to 160°C.

Peel and cut the shallots and garlic into four.

Cut the tomatoes and capsicum into cubes.

Brush the pork with olive oil, place in a baking dish with the shallots, garlic, tomatoes and capsicum and cook in the oven for 20 minutes.

Pour in the beer and cook for 1 hour 40 minutes, adding a little more beer if necessary. Season.
