Peel and cut the onions into wedges.
Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into large cubes.
Drizzle the sweet soy sauce over the chicken and sprinkle with the sea salt and sesame seeds.
Place the chicken in a baking dish. Surround it with the sweet potatoes and onions, season with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil.
