Ingredients

  • 4 onions
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 chicken
  • 12 garlic cloves
  • 1 litre full-cream milk
  • Salt and pepper

1 flameproof casserole dish

1 chopping board

Method

Preheat the oven to 160°C.

Peel and slice the onions.

Sauté the onions for 5 minutes with the olive oil in a flameproof casserole dish. Add the chicken, garlic cloves and milk; season with salt and pepper. Cover and bake for 1 hour, basting the chicken regularly with the milk.
