  • 4 apples, such as pink lady
  • 100 g black cherry jam
  • 150 ml calvados
  • 80 g butter
  • 3 tablespoons caster sugar

1 baking dish

1 chopping board

1 apple corer


Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Cut a lid from the top of each apple and remove the core with an apple corer.

Place the apples in a baking dish. Mix the jam with the calvados, fill the apples with this mixture, place the lids back on top of the apples. Place a small knob of butter on each apple, sprinkle with sugar and bake for 30 minutes.

Spoon the juice over the apples before serving.
