Ingredients

  • 64 green (spring) almonds in the shell
  • milk, to cover

Method

Remove the outer green shell and the inner papery skin from the almond kernels. Split each almond in half along its natural seam. To avoid browning, store the split almond kernels in milk, in the refrigerator until required.
