These “Dearest Crab” (literal translation) are popular snacks in Thailand but also may be served as an accompaniment to a meal. The native version of Poo Cha is steamed in small containers fashioned from banana leaves. If your banana tree is not flourishing, either buy small aluminum foil (approximately 3" diameter) containers or, easier, mold your own from foil. Of course the ideal, hassle-free, Western arrangement is the ramekin.
