Saus Prik is my attempt to re-create the marvelous, hot sauce served in so many Thai restaurants, particularly Chai Talay on Rama IV in Bangkok. Similar sauces may be purchased bottled and labeled “All Purpose Sauce.” They are also sweet/hot and garlicky but lack the personality of homemade.
