  • About

The starting point for this cake was the heady combination of dark chocolate and orange first experienced in the Jaffas of our youth, eaten ferociously at the movies and often rolled down the aisles. Jaffa, in fact, is a coastal town near Tel Aviv in Israel where the orange is first thought to have been cultivated. Today the town gives its name to the oranges and pink grapefruit grown and marketed there.
