Popovers are made with a batter not unlike pancake/Yorkshire pudding batter. These are definitely best served warm, and can get a little messy if you’re anything like me. Tearing apart the flaky dough (is it technically dough? I don’t know, but it’s delicious) and mopping up the warm honey is the ideal way to spend your time.
Make the batter by whisking the flour, eggs, vanilla extract and milk in a large jug until no lumps remain. Chill for at least 20 minutes (this isn’t critical, but I highly recommend it).
