Popovers are made with a batter not unlike pancake/Yorkshire pudding batter. These are definitely best served warm, and can get a little messy if you’re anything like me. Tearing apart the flaky dough (is it technically dough? I don’t know, but it’s delicious) and mopping up the warm honey is the ideal way to spend your time.

Ingredients

Make the batter by whisking the flour, eggs, vanilla extract and milk in a large jug until no lumps remain. Chill for at least 20 minutes (this isn’t critical, but I highly recommend it).
