Ayla’s Truffle Tajarin

Truffles have a lot of significance in our family. When Mel and I were dating, I took her to Piedmont during truffle season for our one-year anniversary. We rented a Jaguar and drove all around the region, eating at Michelin-starred restaurants, drinking at wineries, and gorging ourselves on truffles. Once we were married, truffles were something I frequently cooked when we were home, whenever I could get my hands on them. Once Ayla came along, we brought her into the fold.
