Not to be confused with the böreks, these sigara are small, bite-sized treats made of yufka dough that is filled with feta and pan-fried. (Sigara means “cigarette” in Turkish.) When my mother-in-law comes to visit, she’ll make a ton of the filling and fry up batches regularly for us to have as snacks or as an antipasto. They are deliciously additive; Karya will eat these by the truckload, which is saying a lot.
