A staple of the Turkish breakfast table, cevizli kömeç, or walnut bread, took some time to grow on me. The bread itself is a little dry, made up of layers of thin dough, like Gözleme wrapped around the walnuts. But after trying it a few times, I was able to appreciate its subtle but deep texture and flavor, and now I’m so addicted I can’t keep it around the house. If you don’t have time for a full Turkish breakfast, this walnut bread is delic
