Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh mint

Method

Bring the water to a boil in a kettle. Add the mint to a see-through glass teapot. Add the boiling water. Cover and steep for 20 minutes on top of a samovar or simmering kettle or by using a tea cozy. Bring the teapot to the table, along with a small glass and bowl of sugar on a small tray for each individual. Fill each glass with tea. Leave the teapot on the table and cover it with a tea cozy.
