Thick, fluffy, focaccia-like sheet pan dough is the easiest dough to make, and the kids will love to lend a hand. The dough can be prebaked well before dinnertime and can also be partially baked and frozen for up to a month—perfect for last-minute meals.

  • 1⅓ cups (325 ml) warm water (110°F/43°C)
  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast

Method

In a medium bowl, whisk together the water, yeast, and sugar. Set aside until foamy, about 10 minutes. In a large bowl, stir together the flour and salt.
