  • About

A quick-to-prepare uncooked tomato sauce adds zing and just the right amount of acidity to your favorite pizza toppings. A splash of balsamic vinegar brightens the flavors while contributing just a touch of sweetness. Make a double batch and freeze whatever you don’t use so you’ll have a head start on your next pizza night.

Ingredients

  • 1 can (800 g) crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar

Method

In a bowl, stir together the tomatoes, vinegar, olive oil, and Italian seasoning.

Use right away or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 1 month.
