  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves, firmly packed
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ½ cup


Roughly chop the basil and garlic and place in the bowl of a food processor with the pine nuts. Process until finely chopped. With the motor running, slowly add the oil and continue to process for a few seconds until it forms a smooth sauce.

Turn off the processor and stir in the cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
