Puttanesca

There is a classic Italian dish called pasta puttanesca—there are a few stories as to where this pasta got its name, but the literal translation means “whore’s pasta.” The beauty of this pasta sauce is the combination of tomato, garlic, chile, capers, olives, and anchovies. All of these ingredients call out to be placed on top of a pizza along with some creamy buffalo mozzarella.
