  • 8 slices of white bread, taken from a large sliced loaf
  • butter for spreading
  • little Marmite
  • 1

Method

Find a cutting board and a small knife for spreading.

Lay the slices of bread out neatly on a board. Lightly butter each one. Spread four of the slices with just a little Marmite.

Thoroughly wash the watercress and strip the leaves off the stems. Arrange the watercress leaves over the four slices of bread. Cover with the remaining four slices and press gently. Trim away the crus
