Find a large saucepan, a wooden spoon and a shallow tin – a small roasting tin is a good choice.
Put the marshmallows, butter or margarine and cream caramels into a saucepan. Place over a low heat and stir gently until the ingredients have melted and the mixture is blended. Draw the pan off the heat.
Add the rice crispies all at once and stir gently until the crispies are coated
