Frosted Fruits

• shiny red apples, pears and black grapes
• 1 egg white
• castor sugar for coating

Find a clean tea-cloth and a small paintbrush. Cut a square of kitchen foil or greaseproof paper for the sugar. Find a pretty dish for serving.

Wash and polish up the apples and pears. Wash and pat dry the grapes. The hard fruit should polish up nicely with a tea-cloth and the choice of definite colours for the fruit will show up the frosting nicely.
