You will need a pastry board, a rolling pin and a flour sifter for rolling out the pastry. A small mixing bowl, a pastry brush, a kitchen knife and a pair of kitchen scissors and a palette knife. Let the frozen pastry thaw for 1 hour at room temperature. Heat the oven to very hot 220°C (425°F or Gas No 7), find a baking tray, a pair of oven gloves and a wire cooling tray.
