I’m a great devotee of stuffed marrow, and had been racking my brains how to make it a one-pot meal when a friend of mine said that she always cooked the marrow in the pan in which she had cooked the stuffing, so that solved that. And in fact if you add a little water to the pan, you’ll get a nice gravy to boot.
