Ingredients: 12 cups popped popcorn (from about ½ cup unpopped kernels)*; Salt, to taste, plus ⅛ teaspoon salt, for the syrup; ¼ teaspoon almond extract; 2 teaspoons vanilla bean paste; 4 ounces white chocolate, melted; 1 cup roasted salted peanuts; ½ cup light corn syrup; 1½ cups granulated sugar

This sweet and salty treat tends to disappear moments after I set it out for my guests. I also like to add a few drops of food coloring to the sugar syrup and then pile the popcorn in tall glass jars for a sort of edible party decoration.
