Bread and butter pudding never seems to go out of fashion – it’s such a classic British dessert. I like to make mini versions with buttery brioche slices and homemade custard for that extra yum factor.


  • 4 thick slices of brioche (about 150 g/5 oz)

Preheat the oven to 160°C/325°F/Gas 3.

Spread the brioche slices with the softened butter on one side only, then cut each slice into 2 triangles.
