I started whipping this version up when I had enough of that abominable store-bought dodgy stuff, unjustly sold under the name of humble hummus. It is way cheaper and healthier without any unnecessary additives that do not belong in our diet.
To make the hummus, follow the first four steps of the OG hummus recipe.
Add the still-warm chickpeas to the food processor along with the drained roasted peppers and blend it for 1 minute until it reaches a coarse consistency.
Add an ice cube to the blender and pulse in, then add the tahini and pulse again. Repeat, adding another ice cube and pulsing, then adding half the lemon
