Tabouleh with a Beiruti Touch

Traditionally, the elderly lady of a household, who is usually in charge of overlooking the prep of a feast and making tabouleh, would always bring her hands together and say “Bismillah” (in the name of Allah) first, then the youngest in the kitchen would pour in the olive oil followed by the lemon juice over the prepared salad veggies, mixing love, care and blessings into salad with her wrinkly hands.
