A vibrant Egyptian condiment brought to the Hijaz region (Madinah) of Saudi Arabia by the pilgrims and integrated with locals ever since, this can be used both as a dip and a spice mix. I often use this blend to marinate chicken and vegetables when I don’t have any other spices to hand for a quick delicious one-pot-wonder meal.
