During my recent visit to Saudi Arabia, I was pleasantly surprised by the advancements that they have made as a nation in generating awareness on renewable energy, and their efforts to go green. At the same time, contemporary Saudi cooking and the modernization of their native flavours wowed me. This gleaming, green, super-charged smoothie is my take on a drink that I was served in a luxury hotel on the seafront in Jeddah. Boy, I still remember the addictive taste.
