Probably the only commonality between French champagne and Saudi “champagne” is the colour. Saudi champagne is a lovely satisfying drink, designed to beat the heat. It is heavily infused with fresh fruit and lots of mint, and built over plenty of ice.

Attractive, sassy and classy, this drink is a modern Saudi concoction that can be enjoyed throughout the year, but it is during Ramadan and outdoor summer parties when it is particularly enjoyable, for me at least!
