Parathas are thick layered breads basted with butter or ghee. Once you have tried your hand making this foolproof, basic paratha, you can experiment with various fillings. This is a wonderful bread to have for breakfast, for lunch or as part of a main meal. It’s impossible not to get mucky making it, but it is fun to have a go at doing so with the family, especially the kids. Best eaten hot.
