Few, if any, poems have been written about the humble cauliflower. Wordsworth, for instance, was more taken with daffodils and you can’t really substitute ‘a host of boring cauliflowers’. However, by adding a few seeds and spices it becomes a thing of wondrous beauty.
This is a lovely, simple dish and I think it goes really well with Western food, as a vegetable accompaniment to fish, chicken or meat, however it’s prepared.
